Wayport works with telecom operators to help them re-assess their strategy and operational models of building and managing WLAN networks and delivering WLAN services. Even more importantly, Wayport enables them to deliver on their strategy. To that aim Wayport offers operators a host of services either within specific business process areas, e.g. recruitment of venues and subsequent venue account management, or as a wider approach where the entire WLAN network and the business processes around it are outsourced.

Wayport has managed WLAN networks and services for operators since the early days of the WLAN market. Wayport’s most important reference is ATT, one of world’s largest telecom operators to whom Wayport provides a host of managed services to enable ATT’s WLAN service offering. By the end of the year 2008 Wayport expects to manage in total over 10.000 operator WLAN locations as the managed services partner for world’s leading Telcos.
