Christina Geßner

Christina Geßner is Technology Manager of the Test & Measurement Division of Rohde & Schwarz in Munich. She is responsible for strategic marketing and product portfolio development regarding UMTS long term evolution technology. Christina joined Rohde & Schwarz in 2004. From 1998 – 2003, she worked for Siemens Mobile Communication Networks in Berlin and Munich. During this time, she held a variety of roles in strategic product management for UMTS and GSM/GPRS radio networks, focusing on design and evaluation of physical layer, protocol and architecture concepts. As standardization project leader, she was representing Siemens in 3GPP, first in UMTS Radio Access Network Protocol Group and later on in GERAN group. Christina received a degree of Dipl.-Ing. in Electrical Engineering from University of Hannover / Germany in 1998.
