Luis Alfonso Serrano

Luis-Alfonso Serrano is vice president of network strategy for Boingo Wireless, an ultra-high-speed wireless Internet service available in thousands of locations such as hotels, airports, cafes and other public places in dozens of countries throughout the world. He leads the strategic partnerships and roaming agreements efforts for Boingo both from the Los Angeles headquarters and also from his native Madrid, Spain.
Serrano began his career as an analyst consultant for the Spanish Telecom Regulatory Commission. He has held a range of management consulting positions specializing in the telecommunications industry with international firms including McKinsey & Company, J.P. Morgan Chase & Company and Westbrook Management. Serrano holds an M.S. in telecommunications engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Spain, and an M.B.A. from The Anderson School at UCLA.
